    HUTCHINGS HYUNDAI EXPAND INTO NEW SWANSEA FLAGSHIP DEALERSHIP

    The fifth-generation Treforest based Hutchings Motor Group, have recently opened their brand new state-of-the-art Hyundai dealership in Swansea. The £2.5m development opened last week in time for the firm to gear up for the seasonal September car registration plate change.

The fifth-generation Treforest based Hutchings Motor Group, have recently opened their brand new state-of-the-art Hyundai dealership in Swansea. The £2.5m development opened last week in time for the firm to gear up for the seasonal September car registration plate change.

Group Managing Director, Stephen Hutchings explained: “Following five years of successful partnership with Hyundai, we are delighted to announce the August opening of this prestigious new dealership, with the finishing touches now being completed on what will be the most significant dealership opening for the Hyundai brand this year.

“We are very confident in the potential of the Swansea market to justify this £2.5m investment for the continued growth of Hutchings Motor Group with Hyundai. We are particularly delighted to have secured such a prominent and well placed location at the end of Valley Way on the Enterprise Park in Llansamlet.

“All our existing Swansea-based staff colleagues are looking forward immensely to moving into the new site from our current Carmarthen Road location. We plan to further increase our staff numbers as the business expands.”  

John Hutchings, Chairman of Hutchings added, “From the start of this project we committed to ensuring that the main consultants, engineers and contractors involved in its construction would be Swansea-based, ensuring that the whole investment would feed into the local economy.

“Future-proofing the facilities in the new premises was also a major priority, allowing for sufficient additional internal and external expansion space. Renewable energy featured strongly in the design brief including a substantial roof mounted photovoltaic installation which will provide a significant proportion of our electricity requirement and a sophisticated rain-water harvesting system will provide our own self sufficient water supply.

Hutchings Motor Group employs over 100 staff and have other Hyundai dealerships in Bridgend and Pontypridd in addition to their long established Vauxhall business at their North Cardiff location.

If you purchase a vehicle, in the majority of cases, we will receive a commission from your lender for introducing you to them which is either a fixed fee, or a fixed percentage of the amount that you borrow. This may be linked to the vehicle model you purchase.

    Different lenders pay different commissions for such introductions, and manufacturer lenders linked directly to the franchises that we represent may also provide preferential rates to us for the funding of our vehicle stock and also provide financial support for our training and marketing. But any such amounts they and other lenders pay us will not affect the amounts you pay under your finance agreement; however, you will be contributing towards the commission paid to us with the interest collected on your repayments. Before we propose you to a potential lender, we will inform you of the likely amount of commission we will receive and seek your consent to receive this commission. The exact amount of commission that we will receive will be confirmed prior to you signing your finance agreement.

Cancellation Policy

  • You have 14 days no quibble return policy except when you have altered the vehicle from standard Manufacturers specification (in this instance no return is possible under any circumstance). You must inform us in writing by post or email is acceptable to greig@Hutchings.co.uk.
  • £99 ONLINE Reservation Fee fully refundable.
  • New vehicle cancellation fee £500.
  • Used vehicle cancellation fee £250.
  • Holding deposit £250 kept until you return the Registration Document for the cancelled order.
  • You will be responsible for any Road Tax that we have paid for including extra charges that are payable upon registration of a new vehicle that are not refundable by the DVLA
  • £0.10 per mile charge(+VAT) for vehicle having covered more than 537 miles since purchase.
