Vauxhall retailer, Hutchings Motor Group is set to welcome the first electric version of one of Britain’s most popular cars, the Vauxhall Corsa, when it enters production in January 2020. However, Welsh residents can ensure they’re one of the first to own the all-new Corsa-e, as reservations are now open.

With the sales of battery electric vehicles up 60%* over the last 12 months, the Corsa-e looks set to encourage even more people to make the switch with its generous range, free home-charging kit for the first 500 reservations, as well as a low £500 reservation cost.

The Corsa-e has been designed to make Welsh residents transition to owning an EV as simple as possible. The car’s punchy performance sees it reach 62mph in just over eight seconds and boasts a generous range of 205 miles, bringing the same levels of performance found in a traditionally powered car.

Priced from £26,490, including the Government’s £3,500 Plug-in Car Grant, the Corsa-e will be available at Hutchings in two highly-specified trims, both of which will come as standard along with a 7-inch touch screen, 11kWh on-board charger, satellite navigation, LED headlights, alloy wheels, rear parking sensors and DAB radio.

Providing peace-of-mind for customers, the Corsa-e comes backed with a comprehensive battery warranty, which guarantees that at least 70 per cent of its capacity is maintained for 100,000 miles, or eight years.

Full specifications and range pricing will be available when the Corsa-e receives its world premiere at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September 2019.

The exact amount of commission that we will receive will be confirmed prior to you signing your finance agreement.

Cancellation Policy

  • You have 14 days no quibble return policy except when you have altered the vehicle from standard Manufacturers specification (in this instance no return is possible under any circumstance). You must inform us in writing by post or email is acceptable to greig@Hutchings.co.uk.
  • £99 ONLINE Reservation Fee fully refundable.
  • New vehicle cancellation fee £500.
  • Used vehicle cancellation fee £250.
  • Holding deposit £250 kept until you return the Registration Document for the cancelled order.
  • You will be responsible for any Road Tax that we have paid for including extra charges that are payable upon registration of a new vehicle that are not refundable by the DVLA
  • £0.10 per mile charge(+VAT) for vehicle having covered more than 537 miles since purchase.
